Rummy Multiplayer is a card game you can play with friends up to 4 people. We built BuddyBoardGames so we could play our favorite board games remotely with friends and family during the COVID-19 lockdown. The discard pile is shuffled before refreshing the draw pile. Play continues until one player has gotten rid of their whole hand.
When a player reaches the target score he has won the entire game. For 2 players the score is 100 points, for 3 players it's 150 points and for four players the score is 200. The score needed to win the entire game varies based on how many players there are. The points for all the losers are added together and given to the winner.
On your turn, draw one card from either the stock pile or the top of the discard pile. One card is turned face up to start the discard pile. Each player is dealt 10 cards (2 players), 7 cards (3 to 4 players), or 6 cards (5 to 6 players). Share the room name with friends so they can join before you start.
At your new gaja game table, click "Invite players" and copy the link for your friends. A set is three or four cards of the same rank, like three 7s. The first player to reach 200 points wins. Melds on the table don't score, and nobody loses points. Face cards are worth 10 points each, Aces are worth 1, and number cards are worth their face value. If you meld or lay off all your cards, you go out without a discard.
